Geetika Alok is a graphic designer and typographer. Her interests lie in typography and
it’s influences and relationships with culture. She explores the abstract entity of the
alphabet and its ability to embrace culture through type design.
Geetika works on diverse projects for cultural, design and corporate clients across various
media that include typography, print, identity, stationery and environmental graphics.
Some of the clients include Wallpaper*, British Council, Penguin and SAP Labs with works
featured in Wallpaper* and Creative Review. She is mentioned in the Wallpaper* Next
Generation Graduate Directory 2011. Hand-picked by Wolff Olins, she had the opportunity
to work with them and get involved in various projects. Awarded a DFID Commonwealth
Scholarship Geetika graduated from the Royal College of Art with an MA in Communication,
Art & Design.
